“As soon as I saw you,
I knew a grand adventure was about to happen.”

Where It Began
For every childhood story, we shared parallels, as if our lives were circling each other, waiting for the right moment to collide. It felt like fate was holding us just out of reach, saving the magic for when we were ready.
That moment came when we both found ourselves working at an adventure store, dreaming of bigger things and brighter futures. There is a certain kind of magic you can only taste when you’re young, when the world is still new. When every dream feels possible, and every glance feels like the start of forever. That was the spark, the beginning of our story.

Falling Into Place
Annika moved to Ashland, and Spencer began carving out the early stages of adulthood in California. Even with distance between them, their friendship stayed strong, visits here and there, always picking up right where they left off. When Spencer came to visit Annika in Ashland, something shifted. Long talks about their dreams and the lives they hoped to build revealed that maybe their story was meant to be something more. They made a playlist and listened across the miles, each song carrying the promise that soon the waiting would end and their next chapter together would begin.

Building a Life Together
When Annika returned to California, the places that once held only friendship bloomed into something more. Enchanted alleyways, tucked away French restaurants, and even the San Francisco pier became chapters of a new story, one written together. Soon after, Nuit became their first little heartbeat in our growing family, and life began to feel less like waiting and more like home.
Drawn north, we followed adventure to Bellingham, a place Spencer had always loved and Annika was ready to embrace. Here, the mountains welcomed us, the trails tested us, and the forests wrapped us in their beauty. With every hike, every ride, and every new discovery, we built the life that now carries us forward.
And now, that journey leads us to Sweden to celebrate our love on Midsummer, the longest day of the year, surrounded by the family we are building together.
